Top Notch Work At Home Transcription Staff Needed

Pay rate: $1 per audio minute (60 minutes of audio pays $60)
Location: 100% telecommute

We are swamped, and we need 2 or more really special people to add to our team of transcription staff. The current team is overwhelmed with work, and we're falling behind. We have a lot of transcription work that need to be handled right away, and we have been alerted by our customers that there's a lot more coming.

The type of person we need meets all of the following expectations. Please do not submit your application unless you meet ALL of the following:

• Must have high speed internet connection
• Must be very familiar with Word
• Must be a speedy typist (100+ wpm)
• Must have a standard cassette transcriber, with the ability to transcribe downloadable sound files as well.
• Must be highly literate in English and have impeccable spelling and grammar
• Must be an excellent listener and be able to follow a discussion and formatting instructions.
• Preference given to those with experience in medical transcription, or with experience transcribing group discussions and interviews.
• Must have the uncanny ability to learn new software tools easily, without asking too many questions
• Must be able to use logic to solve problems.
• Must be able to quickly access the right information on any given site, without needing to be told where that information is located on a page.
• Must be willing to work on tight deadlines and be very responsive when contacted for work. Must be willing to stay in touch at all stages of a project and not give up on an accepted project, no matter what the reason.

There are a variety of transcription tasks we need done on a regular basis. You will be learning things you never knew about, and we're willing to work with you to learn new skills. But if you don't have the above qualities to begin with, it won't work out and will waste our time and yours.

Mandatory Testing Procedure: Since we require freelancers with knowledge and experience in specific skill sets, we have put together short tests, to gauge your comfort and experience in working with this type of task.
