We are looking for top talent to join our business development team. An individual who will foster the growth of the agency’s client list with great enthusiasm and passion. The Director of Business Development represents the voice of the agency to all external audiences and prospective clients. Duties include new business development, telephone sales, marketing, strategic planning, public relations, client services and agency leadership.
The Director of Business Development will be responsible for the continued diversification of the agency’s client list and work portfolio through the acquisition of regional (California) and national consumer and business-to-business accounts for brand consultation, brand identity, advertising, annual reports, packaging, marketing collateral, event graphics, corporate meetings and events, brochures, websites and more. This person will initiate opportunities to grow the agency by increasing the agency’s offerings in integrated marketing communications campaigns, full-service advertising clients and creating web development opportunities and opportunities for intellectual content to be used in public relations efforts as well.
This person will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years of advertising/design/brand agency or client side experience in business development, product marketing, public relations and/or brand development. The ideal candidate should be a strong, independent manager, capable of managing multi-disciplinary divisions within a fast-paced, creativity-driven environment.
