We are seeking a key contributor at a dynamic, early stage company. The Sr. Java Programmer position is for a mid to senior level professional who has hands-on familiarity with all aspects of development (Mainly presentation layer). This position will be focused primarily on the presentation layer. Experience with AJAX is a plus.

We are looking for an experienced, well-rounded Java developer specializing in web / internet technologies to join a small team of developers who are responsible for the architecture, design and development of project management industry software. Qualified candidates will design and implement components within our existing custom framework and will bring a firm understanding of Java technologies and best practices to the team.

Required Skills

Minimum 4 years experience in the development and deployment of web based systems using Java technologies (including but not limited to HTML, AJAX, Java Script, JSP, Java Beans, Struts or similar design patterns)

Experience with taking a web application from design to production highly desired.

Hands on experience in all aspects of the development life cycle - requirements, design/analysis, development, development testing, QA.

Have participated in JADs to define and develop new functionality for existing applications.

Understanding of project management principles through the development life cycle.

Hands on experience with OOA/OOD methodology.

Hands on experience working in a mixed development and production environment (Windows/Linux).

Hands on experience with source control systems and methods, specifically CVS.

Hands on GUI development working either from an existing specification or from a design created by themselves.

Minimum of B.S. degree in Computer Science, or equivalent training
