ASP.NET 2.0 Web Developer

[Company] is a nationwide signing service that specializes in developing, implementing, and managing client specific loan signing solutions for lenders, brokers, title and escrow companies. We are constantly looking to expand our online web services and we are looking for a seasoned web professional that can significantly augment our in-house development team. This position has the possibility for telecommuting for the right candidate so organizational skills and a self motivator is a must.

Responsibilites:

Primary fulltime resource that will work on a multi-vendor n-tier application using ASP 2.0. Utilze current technologies such as ATLAS, AJAX, and ASP 2.0 to build new interactive interfaces for our vendors and clients. The project requires experience with n-tier applications built on SQL Server and the use of web UI to build adaptable and tailored user interfaces. The ideal candidate will have built web applications in a team-based development environment with an understanding of bug reporting, code and build management tools. They will need to work with loosely defined business requirements and information passed from the business project members in order to accurately capture requirements and turn those into specifications, guidelines and ultimately code. They need to have adequate communications skills for applying the appropriate technical solution to the business requirements. They will be given the latitude to investigate issues and new technology on their own in order to improve their knowledge base and apply appropriate new technologies.

Requirements:

- Candidate should possess 3-5 years of web development experience.
- Strong knowledge and 2-3 years of hands-on experience with ASP.NET, C#, ADO.NET and (SQL Server 2000 or SQL Server 2005).
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/HTML/CSS/AJAX and other web based technology.
- Report writing experience and one-two years of hands on experience developing reporting with Business Objects/Crystal Reports or Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Candidate should also have understanding with object-oriented design, N-Tier design and strong understanding of software development life cycle.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and provide measurable results.
- Candidate must possess a BA/BS in Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent in training and experience.
