Technical Editor - Developer Documentation

[Recruiting Firm] is seeking an experienced Technical Editor to work on our client's major update and re-write of their Messaging API SDK (MAPI SDK). This is highly technical documentation that is aimed at C++ Developers.

The ideal candidate will have general knowledge of COM programming and an understanding of basic programmability elements such as interfaces, methods, structures and enumerations. (Editor does not need to know how to program, just a basic understanding of the Developer documentation.)

This Technical Editor's work will consist of editing updated topics, performing QA on auto-migrated topics and other editorial duties. No telecommuting due to need for frequent face to face meetings with team.

Required Skills for this Technical Editor includes the following:


* Familiar with Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications (MSTP).
* Experience with Developer Division User Education Style Guide, DocStudio and DxStudio is definitely an asset.
