Responsibilities The Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist position will serve on a large-scale elearning conversion project. The assignment is for a 10-12 month period, and successful candidates may be considered for full time positions. Work is to be performed at the [Company] office at [See URL below.] Telecommuting and virtual work will be considered, as well as flexible work hours.Strong writing and editorial skills required; attention to detail a must.Familiarity with ISO9001 a plus; familiarity with web based development tools a plus.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Utilizes [Company] designated authoring tool to access and review training courseware. Quality assurance tasks must be conducted within the resources and time constraints authorized. Conducts quality review to ensure work is free of content and programming errors by:a. Comparing version 1 and version 2 of courseware, comparing screen by screen to ensure conversion is accurate.b. Testing functionality on individual pages to ensure product is error free.c. Documenting any errors discovered in an online comment tool.d. Reviewing courseware to ensure fixes were performed accurately.e. Proofing typed text to ensure it is accurate to the original course.f. Reviewing the work of others, including internal partners, to verify that it functions as designed and meets technical standards established for each project.2. Participates in the management and flow of assets between subcontractors and our internal QC and delivery teams.
