Description
Major Trade Association is looking for an individual who will provide critical management of the learning services engagements with banks and other organizations in both a pre-sale and post-sale environment relative to custom and/or elearning training. Engagement management includes consulting/needs assessment, project management, fulfillment, post-project assessment, metrics and relationship management. This position will work cooperatively with our sales/relationship managers, market managers, product managers, and assumes an understanding of the financial services industry. This position also requires the ability to engage customers at all levels of the organization, including executive.

Requirements
B.A./B.S. degree required; M.B.A. preferred. 6-8 years work experience to include a minimum of 2-4 years of consulting/product management or project management experience (or equivalent combination of related training and experience. Work experience in financial services preferred. Ability to identify the desired individual or group performance training needs. Uses active listening skills to understand customer needs, and consulting skills to successfully contract with a customer or organization, diagnose performance issues (gaps), and provide appropriate feedback. Ability to identify the impact of training on the individual and/or organization's effectiveness. Ability conceptualize a framework for a training/program solution that allows for flexibility in delivery and content while making use of past development efforts, and match appropriate content to the training solution. Ability to recognize future sales/relationship opportunities, and establish goals to maximize the potential. Ability to define, plan, organize, control, and close a project. Ability to express facts and idea clearly. Must understands the benefits of teamwork, the roles of team leader and team member, and participates effectively in teams. Ability to influence others to gain support and commitment for Group's goals.
