Writer/Researcher for Part-time Ongoing Weekend Media Monitor Position (work from home)Date: 2008-04-15, 8:25AM EDT
Research and compile a brief media report in two sweeps over each weekend – approximately two to three hours each on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Work from home. Perfect position for freelancer, student or recent college grad.
Successful candidates will have superior writing, reading comprehension and researching skills plus a familiarity with Internet search engines and a sense of urgency. Public relations or journalism experience a plus. Must be highly organized.
Specific responsibilities include conducting keyword searches on databases and news media websites; reading and prioritizing all news clips relevant to specific companies and industries; and converting and uploading the news stories into an email report to be disseminated to clients.
