[Company] is an international organization that provides public relations/media relations, communications and website management services to the aerospace, telecommunication, high-tech and commerce sectors worldwide.
We are currently seeking a contract Japanese Data-entry/production assistant to work part-time from home.
POSITION TILE: Japanese Data-entry/production assistant
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent will work with our staff to assist with in the migration of a Japanese-language aerospace website into a Content Management System (CMS). Limited travel will be required.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Ability to work well remotely (from home) with others.
- Excellent organizational and proofreading skills.
- Competency with Internet-related applications.
- Ability to organize time, manage diverse activities, and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office (i.e. Word, Power Point and Excel).
- Work independently without requiring detailed management review of general work.
- Have transportation to/from our offices in Fairfax, Virginia.
- Ability to attend 3 days of CMS training.
- Ability to work up to 8 hours a day for the next 2 months.
- Ability to provide on-call support following the initial migration.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge or interest of the aviation/airline industry.
- Ability to work from home.
- Savvy with technology and experienced with web tools.
- Knowledge of basic web coding languages: html, etc.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and photo-editing techniques.
