Date: 2008-03-26, 9:19AM PDTWe are looking for an immediate, part-time, contract Executive Assistant to help us grow our new business.
The ideal candidate must be fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Project) and be Internet savvy. Must be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills, comfortable with executive interactions a
nd interested in a flexible, work-at-home schedule. Candidate must have a personal computer with Microsoft Office (2007 preferred) and high speed internet connection. We will provide Outlook Web access. This position is 20 hours per week to start with opportunity for growth.
Must be willing to consider full-time position when company relocates to San Francisco.Responsibilities include the following:
- Manage executive calendars for two co-founders
- Make travel arrangements, flight, hotel, rental car as needed
- Scheduling client meetings and executive “customer interviews” for client related market research
- Conduct market and internet research
- Capture and log target customer contact information
- Create templates for proposals, interviews, and automate the process
- Organize, communicate and execute a Monthly Executive Roundtable (to start in the Spring)
- Track vendors and clients, manage contact database (CEOs/EAs/VPs and Vendors: Graphic Artists/Research Firms, etc.)
- Track and help manage project timelines, budgets, including RFPs & vendor bids
- Develop templates, presentations and project timelines for clients
Skills and qualifications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
- Process-oriented and results-driven
- Good oral, written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent computer skills and Internet savvy
- Resourceful, creative, marketing experience a plus
- Database experience (Access, ACT)
- Flexible, reliable, friendly
- College degree preferred
