Date: 2008-03-11, 7:04PM EDT[Company], one of the area’s fastest growing public relations firms, is seeking a senior associate to service clients in the Web, consumer and business-to-business technology space. We are looking for a talented PR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment where creative ideas, strategic thinking, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves are the underpinnings of our client success. This senior associate will be responsible for maintaining strong relationships with clients; developing strategic plans; and participating in day-to-day account activity, including materials development and media outreach.
The ideal candidate will have at least five years experience in an agency or corporate marketing role, have excellent writing skills, a great rolodex of media and blog contacts, a talent for uncovering opportunities for client visibility, and a thorough understanding of both traditional and social media. In addition, the ability to handle multiple projects at once is a must.
Requirements:
- BA/BS (English or marketing preferred)
- At least 5 years of work experience, preferably in a PR agency or corporate marketing role
- A fearless approach to media relations
- Superior writing skills
- Excellent time management skills
