Position Description

[Company] is hiring a Research/Technical Assistant who will be responsible for managing the programming support for a variety of survey research projects. This is an entry level position that requires a college degree, very strong computer skills (working with databases or spreadsheets especially), attention to detail, and coursework in survey research methods. Candidates who have not yet received their college degree must be able to work part-time until they graduate.
You will receive on the job training and will be working within a 6-person technical team. Strong knowledge of MS Access and/or Excel is required, and familiarity with SPSS is a plus.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing sample databases
- Coordinate mailings of large surveys, managing lists and vendors
- Track survey responses
- Oversee data entry of surveys (internal and external)
- Program and run tabulations of survey results in Wincross
- Assist with coding of survey responses
- Manage the process of sending email invitations for online surveys
- Program online and telephone questionnaires for administration
