SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Claims Analyst processes and pays Flexible Spending Account claims.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-- Examine, process, calculate and pay Flexible Spending Account claims. Determine eligibility of claims within established guidelines.
-- Comply with state laws, policy and company procedures.
-- Enters codes and verifies data for computer processing.
-- 10 to 15 Hours Per Week
QUALIFICATIONS:
-- College diploma (undergraduate). Ability to read and interpret documents including provider receipts, insurance EOBs, medical information and procedure manuals.
-- Ability to write routine correspondence.
-- Above average skills in basic math such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
-- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in written or diagram form. Solid computer skills to include Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, and MS Word. Comfort and familiarity with Windows operating system.
-- This is an ideal position for a graduate student who has two ¡V three years before completing their degree.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Most Claims Analysts work from home so the work environment is dictated by their home office setup.
