Help Family Caregivers Find Resources in Their State!

[Organization] is looking to hire a researcher on a temporary basis in its San Francisco office. The researcher will be responsible for identifying public and private programs that are designed for family caregivers and adults with long-term care needs. The information will be used to develop a new online state-by-state resource directory for family caregivers.

This position is perfect for anyone interested in online research, social services, or aging issues, and/or is graduate student studying gerontology, social work, public administration, public policy, or public health. The ideal candidate will have strong research skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication and writing skills, including the ability to translate technical information into consumer-friendly language. This paid position is available starting immediately and runs through March 30, for approximately 20-40 hours/ week. Work schedule is flexible.

[Program] is a program of Family Caregiver Alliance which works to advance the development of high-quality, cost-effective policies and programs for caregivers in every state in the country. Uniting research, public policy and services, the [Prog.] serves as a central source of information on caregiving and long-term care issues for policy makers, service providers, media, funders and family caregivers throughout the country.
