We looking for a Concept Artist who will responsible for designing and creating concept artwork for assigned aspects of promotional designs. The ideal candidate will ideally be experienced in character and environment design. The Concept Artist will design a broad range of original concept for characters, clothing, user interface, environments, vehicles and objects in both organic and industrial ranges of style.

Essential Functions:

* Three or more years of experience creating concept work for games and/or movies

* Experienced in developed new concepts at every level, from visual exploration to setting a finished art direction for all the content of the property

* Must be an imaginative and creative designer

* Conceptualization skills such as sketching, illustration, drafting, and painting.

* Work under the Art Director to develop concept artwork that defines the overall look and art styles for marketing promotions.

* Assist in creating the style guide for the visual direction and language to be used throughout the project.

* Create concept designs and art direction materials for each project.

* Design a wide range of original concepts and subject matter, including characters, interior and exterior environments, vehicles, objects.

* Create lighting, composition and mood, color studies, as well as storyboards.

* Create quick sketches through to finished storyboard panels

* Create inventive ideas and stories with a sense of entertainment and humor for multiple types of creative projects

Preferred skills

* Arts related degree
* Must have excellent 2D skills and traditional technical knowledge
* An excellent understanding of anatomy, character design, color theory, perspective, lighting, and composition
* Exceptional creativity and conception skills
* Exceptional rendering and drafting skills
* High proficient with Photoshop
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Ability to perform well under pressure and deliver work in a timely manner

Please include portfolio to be considered for this role. Portfolio’s should contain relevant game concept art, preferably spanning both character and environment art.
